ITINERARY
Our journey begins at the National Rainforest Preserve of Tambopata where we learn about the Rainforest from Naturalists who take us on hikes to observe the vast wildlife that lives in the Jungle. We will learn and be in ceremony with renowned Ayahuasqueros that will teach us the ways of the Jungle Shamans and guide us through ceremonies.
Our journey will then take us to the Sacred Valley of the Inka. We will explore the sacred sites and sit in ceremony and meditation with the Medicine People.
Day 1: Fly USA to Lima.
Day 2: Fly Lima to Puerto Maldonado. We then take a motorboat ride to the Eco Amazonia Lodge on the Madre de Dios River. This Lodge is “amazingly” beautiful with individual huts, private bathrooms and a pool.
Day 3: Daytime hikes with native guides where we are shown and taught about the immense variety of plants, trees, and wildlife in the Amazon Rain Forest. Afternoon preparations for the evening ceremony.
Day 4: Hikes and exploration of the Rain Forest. Visit to Monkey Island where our guides show us the many species of monkeys that reside on the Island. Afternoon preparations for evening ceremony.
Day 5: Continued exploration of the Rain Forest. Evening ceremony.
Day 6: Return to Puerto Maldonado with transfer to Cuzco and Sacred Valley of the Inkas.
Day 7: We journey to Moray, an Inkan agricultural site, where we climb down the ancient terraces to work with the Medicine People and celebrate Pachamama.
Day 8: Visit to Killarumi, the Temple of the Moon, to reconnect with the Divine Feminine Energy and spend sacred time in ceremony and meditation. Afternoon at Ollantaytambo experiencing the Temple of the Wind.
Day 9: We travel by train to beautiful Machu Picchu, the City of Light, where we enjoy a late afternoon tour of the sacred city.
Day 10: Machu Picchu: Optional hikes to Huana Picchu, Temple of the Moon and Machu Picchu Mountain.
Day 11: Return to Ollantaytambo by train. An afternoon hike and ceremony at Pisaq, the Temple of the Visionary, and shopping in the marketplace. Evening return to Cuzco.
Day 12: Ceremony working with the energy of treasured water at beautiful Tipon at the base of Pachatusan. We explore Salksayhuaman, the famous Inka site that overlooks Cuzco.
Day 13: Optional walking tour of Cuzco and an opportunity to work with Medicine People.
Day 14: Depart Cuzco to Lima and the States.
Cost of this trip: $2,300.
A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due by June 1, 2007.
